I’m influenced by everyday shapes and forms (organic and otherwise)
and giving them a whimsical twist of imagination.
My own interpretation, with the use of color and texture
is the fun stuff.
I even embrace my oops and the occasional slip of the wrist.
To me, it adds movement and dimension and a visual interest
to my final piece.
Living up in the mountains of Western North Carolina
is certainly inspiration enough.
Nature, they say, is good for the soul.
And, “happy art”
(as I often hear my work described)
….is even better.
